Welcome to ScrumpyDaddy.com! My name is Dave, and this is my pseudo-anonymous place to write about my family; specifically, my kids.
The name “Scrumpy Daddy” came from my daughter, who says I am “scrumpy” when I haven’t shaved in too long, or am intentionally growing a beard. (She started this by saying I was bumpy. Then we all started using the term scruffy. Eventually, this morphed into scrumpy for her.)
My kids are Abby (5), Zach (2), and Matt (born October, 2011.)
My wonderful wife is Rachel, whom I married in the summer of 2003.
